ABOUT NSCBA

People. Partnerships.
A Stronger Tomorrow.

New Shore Community Bridge Alliance (NSCBA) is a community-centered nonprofit organization working to strengthen connections between people, resources, organizations, and opportunities in Kent County, Maryland.

We believe stronger communities are built when people are heard, resources are accessible, relationships are strengthened, and organizations work together. Our role is simple: listen to individuals in our community, identify what is needed, connect people to existing resources and partners, and help bridge the gaps that remain.

Our Mission

To bridge the gaps between community needs and available resources by listening, connecting, and equipping residents in Kent County for a stronger, more resilient tomorrow.

Our Vision

A connected Kent County where every resident has the opportunity to thrive through robust partnerships, accessible resources, and empowered community leadership.

Our Approach

A simple process. A lasting impact.

We begin by listening to the community and, or individual in our community. We identify needs, existing resources, and gaps. Whenever possible, we connect community members with organizations already doing the work. Where gaps remain, we work collaboratively to help develop solutions.

Our Leadership

Community. Accountability. Collaboration.

New Shore Community Bridge Alliance was co-founded by John Beloved and Dr. Kimrose Beloved and is governed by John Beloved as founding chair and an independent Board of Directors committed to the mission and long-term stewardship of the organization.

Building Our Founding Board

NSCBA is currently building a diverse seven-member Board of Directors representing a range of experiences, skills, and perspectives from across our community.
